why can't we instand respond or PM

Basically, I link people to the post Can't Send PMs? Need Your 10-Forum Posts Now? because it gives the reasons as well as easy ways to get your forum post count higher.

The gist of it is that we are trying to prevent spammers who would sign on to their account then mass-PM people about their product. This 10 forum post precursor weeds out the people that don't want to 'waste the time' to get their forum posts in before spamming people. I would follow the link because it does give you helpful information such as heading to the Forum Games to earn your 10 posts quickly!
