CHARLOTTE, N.C. ? Raycom Sports was nominated for six Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards, it was announced by the Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The awards will be announced on January 26, 2013 in Nashville.
The summer weekly series ?Havoline Football Saturdays in the South? was nominated for the fourth time in five years in the Sports Program/Series category. It has won three Emmy Awards. Also in the Sports Program/Series category, ?Kings of the Court? received its first Emmy nomination for its inaugural season.
?ACC Road Trip? was nominated for the fourth straight year in the category Magazine Program. It has been awarded three Emmys. In addition, Raycom was nominated in the categories of Director/Short Form, Writer/Short Form, and Sports Event/Game.
Producer Jeremy Williams and Production Assistants Maxwell Brooke, Richard Brooke and Chris Duzan each received three nominations, Producer Alex Farmartino and Executive Producer Rob Reichley each received two nominations, and Producer David Barringer, Director Billy McCoy, and hosts Tommy Kane and Cory Alexander each received one nomination.
