On September 22 and October 13, co-workers, friends and family came together to support the LLS Light the Night Walk, an annual fundraiser held in communities across the United States and Canada that aims to bring help and hope to people battling blood cancers.
Approximately 80 members of the Infor Alpharetta Operations Center participated in the two mile walk through downtown Cumming and Centennial Olympic Park, spending weeks prior to the event collecting donations in order to support the LLS mission. Funds raised individually by the Infor team and generous corporate donations will be used to support lifesaving blood cancer research, provide free educational materials and events for patients and their families, support local programs such as Family Support Groups and First Connection and deliver comprehensive, personalized assistance through the LLS Information Resource Center.
