North Dakota State University

North Dakota State University invites applications for up to two tenure-track positions in the Department of Mathematics to begin in August 2013.

The required qualifications are: a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics; evidence of the development of a high quality research program; a strong record of teaching and mentoring students; a commitment to departmental and university service; and effective oral and written communication skills.

Preference for the first position will be given to candidates in the areas of combinatorics/discrete mathematics/graph theory and preference for the second position will be given to candidates in analysis. Outstanding applications in other areas consonant with interests of the current faculty will be considered as well.
