Wardrobe | Fashion blog reviews

INDIANAPOLIS - It?s fashion blog round-up time once again, and this week we hit three sites that are worth a peep ? from hyper-local to worldwide.

Fashion Wrap Up

Fashion scenes are popping up all over the Midwest, and Indianapolis seems to be the hub. Fashion Wrap Up explores that world, along with reporting news, thoughts and style ideas on fashion from around the globe.

Along with their team of fashion writers, the e-zine also has seasonal photo editorials with local models and a crack-crew of stylists and photographers that promote local designers, talent and boutiques.

It?s worth a read and a look to see what?s going on throughout the Midwest as it is on the brink of becoming a major fashion scene. As an added perk to their site, they also produce FashionWrapTV.

Refinery29

Over the last year, Refinery29 has exploded onto the fashion scene.

Describing themselves as the ?cornerstone of fashion, beauty, and shopping for a new generation,? their daily newsletter, in combination with their meticulously-curated website, offers news, trends and sneak-peeks along with exclusive deals on fine fashion.

Their advice runs the gamut, from tips for applying eyeliner to choosing the right bag for your outfit. There is no stone unturned.

Although Refinery29 seems to target a younger, under-30 crowd, there is fashion news and advice for anyone, male or female, within the pages of their site.

I also recommend their daily email newsletter. You just might see something that catches your eye.

Natalie Styles Buffalo

Working from a city that has a budding style scene, Natalie began her blog not only to promote herself as an independent stylist, but also to talk fashion in and around Buffalo, N.Y.

Her style tastes are a marriage of classical and modern. It?s a perfect recipe for those of us in the working world who?d like to stay professional while adding a little new flair to the old ?uniform.?

Natalie?s blog offers simple, accessible style advice for most any demographic ? men and women, conservative and whimsical ? which is a great accomplishment for a one-woman fashion blogger.

Check out Natalie?s advice for transforming jeans and a tee into three separate outfits.
