BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) - Finalists to become the next president of the College of Coastal Georgia are scheduled to visit the Brunswick campus in the coming weeks.
The Jacksonville Times-Union reports (http://bit.ly/12ZPLQC ) the field of candidates to replace outgoing President Valerie Hepburn has been narrowed to six.
Visits were planned to start Monday with Bennie Harris, a vice president at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.
Other contenders include Stanley Preczewski, a vice president for Georgia Gwinnett College; Beth Weatherby, a vice president at Southwest Minnesota State University; Concord University President Greg Aloia from West Virginia; Bruce Murphy, a vice president from the Air Force's Air University in Montgomery, Ala.; and graduate school dean Bobby McGehee of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
The Brunswick college must replace for President Valerie Hepburn.
